This month, CAMPFIRE welcomes one of Jackson’s most beloved skiers, Jess McMillan, for a conversation about passion, courage, motherhood — and the joys and challenges involved with balancing a career as a rockstar skier with the commitments of parenting.

Jackson Hole native Jess McMillan is a renowned professional skier, having won the Freeskiing World Tour Champion in 2007, and the US Freeskiing Champion 2007. Her skiing has been featured in the films Like There's No Tomorrow (Warren Miller Entertainment, 2011) and most recently, Rad Moms (Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, 2024). She has also won first place podiums at Chilean Freeskiing Championships, 2010; Chamonix Freeride World Championships, 2009; Revelstoke Freeskiing Championships, 2009; and Russian Freeride Adventure. Her sponsors include Spyder, Volkl, Marker, Lange, JHMR, Backcountry.com, Scott USA; and she is mother to an amazing three-year old named Lincoln.
