Bright Beginnings is looking for volunteers who are passionate about working with young children, ages two to five. Do you appreciate learning through language, reading and fun?

Classroom volunteers will enjoy playing with children, which may include reading books, supporting art projects, engaging in pretend play, and encouraging positive social interactions. If you love being an influencer in the life of a child, this dream is right for you! It’s a new ministry we’ve developed after our summer of dreaming, we're calling it the Grand Godparent Program. To get involved and join our safeguarding and screening process, contact Margaret. We will offer 2-hour time slots in the mid-mornings and after nap time. There is no better way to spend a few hours a week than with a child.

In addition, we are introducing a new job-share opportunity. In lieu of hiring one full-time preschool teacher, we're focusing on hiring five part-time teachers. Are your children in school and you’d like a one-day to two-day per week career? Do your grandchildren live far away and you miss the love and laughter of little ones? Perhaps you've never had children, yet would love the opportunity to read and play with a child.
