Laundry Love
Love never ends -- neither does laundry!
The St. John’s Service Committee began our local Laundry Love in the fall of 2018 to provide laundry services to those in need in our community. Laundry Love is a neighboring movement that partners with groups, schools and local laundromats to wash the clothes and bedding of low-income and/or no-income families and individuals. We provide the quarters, bring your own detergent (new during Covid) on the second Thursday of every month from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at the Jackson Laundromat.
We encourage anyone in the congregation who feels a calling to help, to please reach out to the office at 307-733-2603 or email Lonnie. We are always looking for volunteers to man the laundromat and hand out rolls of quarters.
