Soul Shop Training

The training provided by the nationally known organization Soul Shop recognizes that most of us are not equipped to adequately respond to the issues and desperation around suicide and seeks to equip individuals and congregations so that they may do so. Please join us for one or more of the events offered October 24-27, 2019.

Schedule of Events:

Thursday, October 24, Info Session for teens, parents, teachers \\ Location - St. John's Church, Hansen Hall 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Friday, October 25, Info Session for Seniors \\ Location - Jackson Senior Center at noon over lunch.
Saturday, October 26, Full Training Session \\ Location - St. John's Church, Hansen Hall 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. geared toward community leaders, clergy, psychologists, social workers, counselors, youth ministers, school teachers, parents and anyone touched by suicide.
Sunday, October 27, Abbreviated Training Session \\ Location - St. John's Church 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. geared towards parish members and anyone touched by suicide.

Cost: Free (100% Subsidized for by St. John's Episcopal Church)
