The Key to Growth + our GIFT to you!

An alternate name for our first trimester theme could easily have been “Unlocking the Me in MothEr” and curiosity could quite possibly be the key.

Over the course of the first four months of this year, we will go on a journey of self-discovery or self-rediscovery. Often we can find ourselves lost in the doings of motherhood. In an effort to serve the needs of those we love, we can over-identify with our roles, our thoughts, our feelings or even the thoughts and feelings of others the extent that our true selves become like buried treasure. The gifts of the real you aren’t serving anyone stashed away! Together we will excavate that treasure and unlock the gifts that await, using tools like the enneagram, mindfulness, spiritual practice, intuitive listening and more.

In the spirit of our theme and the underlying core value guiding us through the next few months (Curiosity), we are gifting you a key. Literally! Think of it as an amulet or talisman, a physical reminder of your ability to access the real you at any given moment. Keys are emblematic of so many things. Keys have been used to symbolize our ability to gain access to those things of either a material or spiritual nature which are of the greatest significance to us. The key is an object symbolic of opening and closing powers, such as the power to open the door between this world and the next. The key is also a symbol of freedom and liberation.

Perhaps we are opening the next chapter of our lives and closing the door on stories that no longer serve our highest purpose. Who knows, we may even unlock truths we weren’t expecting! Whatever meaning you imbue your key with, we hope that you are guided by curiosity, and it serves as a reminder that the real you is loved beyond measure, exactly as you are.
